Another sewing project!: Reusable Coffee Sleeve

I just finished another sewing project.  And although it definitely isn’t perfect, I do feel like I am learning more and more as I go.  And even if it’s not perfect, it’s definitely usable, which I suppose is the important thing.

I am thrilled to say that this fabric (which I absolutely love) was found amongst the shelf of random clearance fabric remnants at Hobby Lobby.  I think it was 7/8 of a yard for $3 or so.  Can’t beat that!  And I have plenty leftover, as this project obviously only used a smidgen of fabric.

I used this fabulous tutorial at The Cottage Home blog, which I found really clear and easy to follow.

  1. Wow! I would love one of these! You have great taste, too. I love those fabrics and textures. I would love if you would consider linking this up to “Drab to Fab” this Friday (tomorrow). The theme is taking the ordinary or simple and turning it into something fabulous! This post totally embodies that! I know my readers would get a kick out of seeing this! Here’s a link to more info about the party.

  2. Heather, thanks for linking this up to Drab to Fab Friday! It’s a good thing to share your great ideas with the world, isn’t it? I think so! I REALLY need to learn to sew because now I have so much inspiration yet so little skill.
    Have a great week!

    • I have only been sewing for about 3 weeks, so trust me, you can do it! :) Just get yourself a sewing machine and look up some basic tutorials online. You’ll be making nifty stuff in no time.

Thanks again for the invite to your party!
