One of the places we visited while on our trip last weekend was Brookgreen Gardens, just outside of Myrtle Beach. It’s a sculpture garden and animal park opened in the 1930s on the site of a historic rice plantation.
Although it was a very very hot day, we really enjoyed wandering around the grounds and snapping pictures of the beautiful scenery all around us. If you love art & nature, this is the place for you. Below are some of my favorite shots from our day.
There was actually quite a bit of the gardens that we missed, so I would love to go back. Preferably when it’s not quite as sweltering! It’s really a huge place and could easily fill up a full day or two of touring. So glad we got to experience it!
